Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family is from Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. With her sister Nina Isabel, she attended schools where First Nations and other children with different cultural backgrounds were welcomed. Isabel has worked with numerous environmental groups as well as an activist for animal rights. Since 2010, she has been the patron ambassador for Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel has appeared as a spokesperson in a number of cosmetics, fashion and eco-conscious campaigns.
